The Literature Department at the public University of Chile is seeking a full-time Professor in English and Comparative Literature starting in August 2026.
The full requirements are as follows:
PhD in Literature or an equivalent degree, with a dissertation in the field of English-speaking literatures (any period, topic, or region).
A demonstrated record of study, teaching, or research in English-speaking literatures.
C1-level proficiency in both English and Spanish.
Applicants must be able to teach in both English and Spanish.
