The EC that took place in July 2025 in Seoul analyzed three strong proposals for hosting the 2028 Congress: from the Universities of Rome, Glasgow, and Birmingham. The EC selected the University of Glasgow’s bid.
The 25th Congress of the AILC-ICLAwill take place in 2028, hosted by the University of Glasgow.
The congress will revolve around the theme: “Space and Place in Comparative Literature / L’espace et le lieu dans la littérature comparée.”
