The ICLA is seeking a new Chair and Officers for its research committee (i.e., research group) on Comparative African Literatures. If you are interested in potentially taking on any of these roles, or simply in getting involved in this initiative, please write to Matthew Reynolds (Chair of the ICLA’s Research Development Committee) at [email protected] by 30 September, giving a brief account of your research and your vision for the committee. All relevant focuses and approaches are welcome; and if you have questions about the committee please feel free to ask them.
ICLA Research Committees are lively collaborative groups that address a research area or question. They benefit from the ICLA’s structures and communications network, and can receive €1000 every three years for research expenses, together with further funding to support open access publication. They last for three years in the first instance (renewable) and can become permanent Standing Research Committees in due course.
