New ECARE Prizes and Subventions for Doctoral Students and Early Career Researchers

The ICLA Executive Council has recently approved the following Prizes and Subventions for Doctoral Students and Early Career Researchers:

• Best Graduate Paper Prize at a Congress of the AILC-ICLA (US $ 250).  This prize will be inaugurated at the XXIII Congress in Tbilisi, Georgia, in July 2022
• First Book Subvention (up to US $ 1500)
• Best Translation Prize ($ 1000)

The Executive Council warmly thanks Professor Kathleen Komar, who made the establishment of these prizes possible with her donation of $5,000, as well as the President, Professor Sandra Bermann, who matched the donation with a further $5,000.
